just to know how much they fail by don't restoring at least character's, not GOLD. seriously all my 8 character's got deleted (2 whit fow armor) what they say?

Guild Wars does not have the capability to replace characters or items, whether they are lost through the actions of unfriendly players, deletion accidents, or through other means.

Please let us know if you need assistance with anything else.

yea give back my 3 years of life wasted here.
you should at least put some secret answer or code when one character is being delecter, how this can be possible we deserve that bad treatment? wanna spit on me too?

So my account got hacked this morning all my stuff I have worked hard for over the last 4 years has been stolen or deleted. Anyways I looked around and realized that I had a guest invite to a guild I have never heard of and I dont know anyone in the guild. I have the name of the person that invited me but he/she isnt online so I cant ask them who they are. A guild member of mine said that I logged on around the time I would have been guest invited to this guild and he claims he tried to talk to me over and over with no response.

My question is if this person turns out to be my robber what can I do to get them punished and is there even a way to prove it was them?

when i got hacked i took a few months break. came back and enjoyed the game again, rebuilt my cash/items

Hackers don't usually talk to anyone when they're wiping an account clean, so chances are the guest invite just allowed the hackers to bring your characters to a private place where their assets could be picked clean and disbursed.

Fill out the above form and give them the name of the guild. With a little bit of luck they'll be able to trace any accounts linked to it and close them. Unfortunately the items you lost are likely gone for good now.

well even if you say that i don't think everyone will do it, the problem is one just why this game (on every game played they did it) don't restore the characters? just by being careless one time mean to lose everything? i'm not asking for gold or even my equipment so that you wouldn't bring those missing items back from your hat... even if you should.

you should submit a support ticket.

but you weren't hacked. i hear this a billion times. you probably had a keylogger or an easy password or SOEMTHING was on your computer that allowed the person to obtain your details.

Because your items aren't "gone," they are with somebody else. The guy who stole all your stuff has all your money on another account. And he might have sold stuff to innocent third parties. Then what happens... they give you back your stuff, ban the hacker, and screw over the innocent guy? Or just give you back your stuff and let the innocent guy keep your stuff too (and thus dupe items).

Hate to say it.. but it's no one's fault but your own. What'd ya do, visit a shady gold-buying/gwhaxx website of a sort? Did your give away any information? Did you do anything that you suspect would cause a breach in your gwars ID/PW information in any way?

Anet cannot be held accountable for your compromising actions because otherwise, they'd be making so many people out there rich at an instant and those on the recieving end might be lieing their @$$3$ off!

yea, many games do it but it's even enough restore character whit only his gear or w/e

ANet is not giving you "bad treatment" they cannot restore your characters with anything short of a server rollback, which they sure as hell are not doing for 1 person.

I agree with the OP. I mean, they should roll back all of the servers so he can get his stuff back! Forget about the accomplishments of everyone else during that time period, this guy is important!

I am very sorry, I know how you must feel; how I would feel if I lost all my characters. Because I have lost all my characters in another game once. It really shook me up.

But this is the thing about online games. It is all pixels on a screen, it is all transient. There is nothing that is permanent, nothing to hold on to. None of the accomplishments are real. Might be a good time to play something else, maybe offline for a while.
